We had lots of people requesting to NOT be given incentive prizes for donating to the legal fund. Rest assured, money from the legal fund was NOT used to purchase the prizes. The pins, patches, maps, and the first batch of books were all donated by benefactors.
However, from here on out - we will make sure that the donors actually WANT the stuff before we send it out! No sense anything going to waste!
- Donation of $5 or more - color map of Crowell Hilaka
- Donation of $10 or more - map and patch
- Donation of $100 or more - map, patch and millwheel lapel pin
- Donation of $250 or more map, patch, pin, and the book of Crowell Hilaka. ($50 of the donation received after March 9th, 2012, goes toward production cost of the book)
If you send a donation by check, just send a note if you want the prizes. If you donate by paypal, just shoot me an email with your address so I can have the stuff shipped to you. firstname.lastname@example.org
I am going to brag about the book here:
It is 50 pages - 11.5 inches wide / 8.5 inches tall.
Produced by Snapfish Very heavy on pictures - mostly photos .
The best vintage shots of Mr Kirby & his buildings - including some of the quirkier, little-known tidbits.
It has the stories of the families who left their mark on the place before the coming of the Girl Scouts: the Oviatts, the Neals, & the Freemans. Julia Crowell , her own self.
The best selections from the Cleveland Press reports on the "new " Cleveland Girl Scout camp.
Details on the watershed, the architecture, nature notes, and girl activities.
Plus - just a whiff of the supernatural!
I do want people to have these - so take up a collection and send in your donation!!!!!!
