Although I'm pretty sure that the courts can't count the promises in a newspaper article as as binding, this archived article DOES bring out a valid point: members were told that the merger would benefit us. It was supposed to give us more opportunities. And it should have. After the initial costs of the merger itself settled down, there should have been centralized, streamlined administration being supported by quintupled cookie income. The benefits should have been enormous by now.
