Paw-Paw Patch and the Railroad
In the early 1950s, Chrysler Corporation decided to build a stamping plant in Twinsburg. Trains were needed to bring in raw materials and take out the finished products. The Pennsylvania Railroad (PRR) needed to run a track from the main line up to Twinsburg, but the route they needed went through Camp Margaret Bates, in the portion known as the Paw-Paw Patch.
