Singing River

" As you came in the lane,( which was leased....the property had no lane in of it's own....) you came onto a parking lot, 3 or 4 platform tents, a shelter, & a "lodge"....a small bldg. which housed the bunks in a great room with a fireplace at the end, 2 bathrooms, & a tiny kitchen. If you hiked along & in the woods, you came to a bluff which had a shelter, & a meadow, where you could camp primitively. There were a lot of hiking trails in the woods, ravines, & it came out onto the Huron River in places....It backs up onto another camp ........ Not sure if it was 4-H or a boys' camp of sorts."
GSNEO sold Camp Singing River in June 2010 to "Betty Boreman Trustee" for $310,000

It is believed that the buildings were razed and the timber on the land harvested.
